Brunton® RL4 LED Day/Night Vision Adjustable Headlamp

The compact, lightweight Brunton® RL4 LED Headlight is great for anyone who wants an excellent headlamp for all-around use. Plus, RL4 gives you a bright red LED light mode for night vision viewing.

The RL4 is a good "all-around" LED headlamp. This headlamp uses three AAA batteries, and offers multiple light mode settings; bright, power-save, and red, plus an emergency flash mode. The power-save is intended to help maximize battery life, with the red useful when you want to preserve your night vision. The Brunton Head Light has a wide beam spread. At its brightest setting it will operate for 45 hours on one set of batteries, projecting its beam from 11 to 15 meters (36 to 49 feet). In its "power-save" mode it will operate for 90 hours, projecting its beam 7 meters (23 feet). Brunton® measures the maximum distance as the point where the light level still exceeds 25 lux, which is roughly equivalent to the amount of light cast by a full moon.
